As a Client Portfolio Manager at AlphaSimplex, Mr. Connors focuses on developing investment programs to meet the needs of financial intermediaries and institutions. In this capacity, Mr. Connors plays a leadership role in both servicing AlphaSimplex’s clients as well as driving business development efforts. Mr. Connors has over 35 years of industry experience.
Mr. Connors joined AlphaSimplex in 2012. Prior to that, he served as a Managing Director at ProFunds Group for ten years. At ProFunds, Mr. Connors directed mutual fund sales and marketing, and was part of the management team that grew the firm into one of the nation’s largest providers of ETFs. Previously, Mr. Connors was Managing Director and Head of Investment Distribution for the Asset Management division of Deutsche Bank. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Mr. Connors was a Managing Director at Alex Brown & Sons in the Private Bank Asset Management Group. Mr. Connors started his career with Merrill Lynch in New York in 1982.
Mr. Connors earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Georgia.
