Jennifer C. Gooch, CPA

Head of Business Finance and Operations

As Head of Business Finance and Operations of AlphaSimplex, Ms. Gooch oversees and manages all the financial, middle-, and back-office functions. She serves as a member of the AlphaSimplex Risk Committee.

Ms. Gooch joined AlphaSimplex in 2019. Previously, she worked with Raptor Capital Management, an investment firm and family office. In this role, she managed back-office processes for a variety of investment vehicles, related portfolio investment accounting and valuation, investor reporting, and audit, tax, and financial statement preparation. Prior to this, Ms. Gooch held a number of roles in the alternative investment industry including as Controller at K Capital Partners and Akasha Capital as well as positions at The Baupost Group and Price Waterhouse.

Ms. Gooch has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross. She is a Certified Public Accountant. She began her career in the investment industry in 1992.
